A Dream DeferredOpen until May 12th

We engaged in discussions on The American Dream: to be Sold not Told -using four guiding pillars to examine the American Dream; Optimism, Individual Liberty, Freedom from Fear and Economic Opportunity. For many of us, the American Dream was bound to our education. Through our shared experiences in school we found this continuous struggle between questions of power and freedom in education. With so much riding on our education and with so much stacked against us, we wanted to explore the school-to-prison pipeline and how it impacts us as students in the state of Rhode Island today.
