Aaron Halegua (’04) is a practicing lawyer, consultant, and a fellow at the New York University School of Law. He is an expert on labor rights, access to justice, and business and human rights in the United States, China, and internationally. Halegua has consulted for Apple, Ford Foundation, International Labor Organization, and other entities. For the last year, he has been advocating to end the exploitative labor conditions faced by over 2,400 migrant construction workers in Saipan and remedy the abuse. Halegua holds an A.B. in International Relations from Brown University, where he also studied Mandarin Chinese and worked at the Watson Institute, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
